CHARLES BRANDON KENNEDY

Charles Brandon Kennedy, age 28, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on December 20, 1988, the son of Gerald Wayne Kennedy and the late Rachel (Haynes) Kennedy.  He was a Res-Care worker and attended the Community Worship Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Cassie Rutherford, a daughter, Kali Jean Rose Kennedy, his father, Gerald Wayne Kennedy, a brother, Ronald Wayne Kennedy; his mother-in-law and special friend: Melissa Thompson, nieces and nephew: Alissa Whitson, Breanna Cooper, Cierra Back, Asten Holder and Harley Dewayne Holder.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Kennedy and a sister, Amy Rose Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Stephens officiating.  In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation will follow after the funeral service.
