CHARLES STEVEN BAIRD

Charles Steven Baird, age 58, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at his home in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

Born in Jellico, Tennessee on October 28, 1963, he was the son of the late Millard and Betty (Lay) Baird. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister: Linda Baird, and six brothers: Jerry, Johnny, Dwight, Millard, Jr., Jimmy and Stanley Baird.

Surviving family include a son, Chad Stephens (Tiffeny) of Oneida, Tennessee and a daughter, Amanda Privitt (and Brad Hacker) of Ohio, a brother, Jerome Baird (Darlene) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and four grandchildren: Landyn, Quentyn, Logan, and Addison.

Charles was a member of the Hayes Creek Church of God and enjoyed hunting and trading guns and other stuff. He loved his children and grandchildren and took great pleasure in spending time with them.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Bunch officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 a.m. until time for services. He will be laid to rest at the Hayes Creek Cemetery.
