Carma Cox age 56 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the UK Hospital in Lexington. 

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 28, 1968 to Billy King and Charollette (Hamlin) King. 

Carma is survived by her parents, Bro. Bill and Charollette King; husband, Larry Gene Cox; daughters, Ritagail Jones (and Josh) and Brittany Bell (and Eli); grandchildren, McKenzie, Luke, Christina, Mason, Raelynn, and Greyson; a brother, Mike King (and Sonya) and very special niece, Madison; a sister, Veronica Mangrum; and several extended family and friends that she loved dearly. 

Carma was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Meadow Grove United Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, going horseback riding, attending dirt track races, going camping, and especially riding side by sides. She also enjoyed going to concerts. But above all things, Carma loved her family and being with her grandbabies more than anything.  

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Billy King Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 12:00 noon until service time.


Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
