Brenda Jane Winchester

Brenda Bryant Winchester age 74 of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home.

She was born May 12, 1946 in Marshes Siding, Kentucky to the late Virgil Watson and Goldie (Bryant) Watson. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Travis Bryant; infant sons, Sherman Bryant and Dwayne Bryant; brothers, Dorman, Donald, Ray, Sherman, and Ronald Watson; and a granddaughter, Tommie Lynn Bryant.

Surviving family include her husband, Ronnie Winchester; her sons, Davis Bryant and wife, Melanie, of Somerset, Timothy Bryant and wife, Tammy, of Pine Knot, Tommy Bryant and wife, Thelma of Pine Knot, and Michael Winchester of Pine Knot; her daughters, Kathy Bryant of Pine Knot and Rebecca Phillips and husband, Joe, of Pine Knot; a special sister-in-law, Glenna Watson; and brothers-in-law, Denver Winchester and wife, Henrietta, of Whitley City and Roger Winchester and wife, Sandy. 

Also surviving are grandchildren, Alison Bryant, Joshua Bryant, Jessie Bryant, Timothy Bryant, Sasha Bryant, Janie Bryant, Travis Bryant, Rochelle Bryant, Brenda Bryant, Ridge Phillips, Joseph Phillips, Abigail Phillips, Chelly Jennings, Elaine Phillips, and Colby Phillips; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. 

Brenda was a member of the Beulah Heights Church of God. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family and things at home. Brenda had many hobbies such as quilting, gardening, working with her flowers, and taking rides through the country, sight seeing. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Old Pigeon Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 12:00 noon until service time.
