BOB MUSGROVE

Mr. Bobby Joe Musgrove, age 66, passed away Friday, August 18, 2006, at his home on the Bob Musgrove Road in Pine Knot.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 21, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in the Musgrove Cemetery in Pine Knot.

He was born November 27, 1939, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to the late George and Vina Davis Musgrove. He was united in marriage to Norma Faye "Kate" Roberts Musgrove on June 10, 1961. In this marriage was born six children, Anthony, Benjamin, Charles, Robert and Katie Musgrove all of Pine Knot, and Diane Duvall of Whitley City, Kentucky. Bob and Kate were blessed with 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Bob is preceded in death by five brothers Rosevelt, L. D., Lonnie, Bufford, and Dester Musgrove and two sisters Beatrice Ross, and Phyllis Jean King as well as two infant sisters.

Surviving sisters and brother are Novella Forste of Florida, Gloria Faye Neal of Michigan, and R. L. Musgrove of Pine Knot.

Before becoming disabled, Bob and Kate lived in Detroit, Michigan, where he worked for the Chrysler Corporation. Bob was a delightful and joyful person who loved people. He expressed his joy for life by making people laugh with his many stories which in return gave him great pleasure. He liked to coon hunt, go four-wheeling and collecting knives and guns.
