Bill Monroe Gregory

Bill Monroe Gregory age 69 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, June 25, 2021 in Lexington, Kentucky at the UK Medical Center.

In keeping of his wishes, after a private family gathering, Bill was cremated.

He was born February 28, 1952 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Schylor Gregory and Dovie (Vaughn) Gregory. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by a daughter, Shanda Gregory; a granddaughter; brothers, Bobby, Carl, James Ellard, Cash, and Jack Gregory; and sisters, May Gregory, Minnie Gregory, Wilma Clark, Barb Whitehead, and Dorothy Gregory.

Surviving family include his children, Scottie Gregory (and Sue) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Schylor Gregory of Pine Knot, Savannah Jones (and James Gilmore) of Pine Knot, and Samantha Godsey of Stearns; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Bill was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and cutting wood. Bill also enjoyed watching Nascar and basketball. But above all things, he mostly enjoyed being with his family, friends, and especially his grandbabies.
