Betty Rose Trammell

March 13, 1934 — March 23, 2018

Betty Rose Trammell, age 84, widow of Charles Trammell, of the Murphy Ridge Community, passed from this life on Friday, March 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 13, 1934 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Lewis and Nevada (Webb) Creekmore.

In addition to her parents, Betty Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles, brother: W.M. Creekmore, and sister: Juanita Shelley.

Surviving family include her children: Roy Lee (Alene) Trammell of Strunk, Billy Ray Trammell of Strunk, Alice (Mike) Bryant of Pine Knot, Lisa (Crit) King of Richmond and Victoria Daniels-Cape of Knoxville, brothers: Jackie (Karen) Creekmore of Strunk and Gary (Carol) Creekmore of Whitley City, sisters: Rhoda Williams of Strunk, Garcia Moore of Pine Knot and Anna Ruth (Harold) Baird of Strunk, grand-children: Rena Stephens-Watson, Charlena Dishman, Richard Trammell, Rebecca Stephens, Billy Joe Trammell, Adam Bryant, Joshua Bryant and Critley King, great grand-children: James Lewis Trammell, Makayla Trammell, Luke Trammell, Joseph Stephens, Erin Stephens, Elly Stephens, William Trammell, Zak Rogers, Charles Dalton Bryant, Justis Bryant and Phaydon Bryant.

Betty was a member of the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God, an active member of the Eastern Star and South Fork Painting Club.  She loved horseback riding, painting, crocheting, farming, and gardening, but above all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home at 7:00 pm with Bro. William Kilby and Bro. Harold Baird officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday after 5:00 until time for the funeral service. Betty will be laid to rest on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Upper Marsh Creek Cemetery.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
