Betty King Todd

Ms. Betty J. King Todd, age 76 of Pine Knot passed away on Thursday January 26, 2006 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 29 at 2pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Silerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-9pm Saturday at Pine Knot Funeral Home.

She was born in Silerville on February 17, 1929 to the late Wilburn and Elsie Ryan Miller. She was retired from the OVC company and a member of the Silerville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Noble Carl King and her second husband, Oliver Todd, a daughter, Tammy King, a brother, Lonnie Walker and a sister, Christine Strunk.

Survivors include 3 sons: Lowell D. "Herbie" King of Livingston, TN, Dallas King, Somerset, KY, and Gary "Buck" King of Strunk.

4 daughters: Alice Fay "Sis" Carson, Oneida, TN, Pandora "Tiny" Crabtree, Pine Knot, KY, Kathy Jo King, Pine Knot, and Debbie Lynn King of Pine Knot.

3 sisters: Sally Murphy, Strunk, KY, Laura May Murphy, Pine Knot, Pauline "Toots" Wilson, of Strunk.

There are 13 grandchildren and 20 grandchildren also surviving.
