BETTY F. GOODIN

Betty F. Goodin, age 65, of Pine Knot, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, 2011 at 2;00 p.m. at the Round Top United Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Trammell officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Smith Cemetery on Round Top Road. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 12:00 noon until funeral service time at the church.

Ms. Goodin was born May 24, 1946, in Pine Knot, Kentucky, to the late William Calvin and Maebelle King Stephens. Also preceding her in death are all her brothers; Paul "Buttle" , Lum, Oscar, and Walter Stephens and Clifford John Trammell, her sisters; Margie Daugherty, Thelma Hughes, Ruth Kirby, Audrey Stephens, Savannah Gregory, and Evelene "Chigger" Jackson.

Surviving family include two daughters Louinna Rickless of Jacksonville, Florida and Kathy Jean Stephens of Somerset, seven sons Jimmy Stephens, Pine Knot; Mickey Kidd, Nancy; Freddie Lee Stephens, Somerset; Anthony Stephens, Somerset; Danny Brown, Nancy; Michael Stephens, Lexington; and Glendon Kidd, Pine Knot. There is one surviving sister Helen Pauline White of Covington, Kentucky.
