BETTY ALESHIRE BYRGE

Ms. Betty Aleshire Byrge, age 63 of Oneida, formerly of McCreary County passed away on Monday April 13, 2009 in Oneida.

Funeral services will be Friday April 17, 2009 at 12 noon in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Francis King and Bro. Tim Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

Betty was born in McCreary County on April 29, 1945, daughter of the late Millard "Ned" and Mattie Perry Stephens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack Aleshire who died in 1989 and 3 brothers, Curtis and Dillard Stephens and Gilbert Perry, and a sister, Dorothy Gregory.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Jennene Ball and Sherry King both of Oneida, and a son, Jeffrey Dale Aleshire of Pine Knot. There is a brother, Maynard Stephens of Strunk, and a sister, Christine McNeill of Independence, KY. Grandchildren are, Amanda Ball, Makayla Ball , Jeremy King, Jessica King, Curtis Patterson, Breanna Aleshire, Dariane Aleshire, Tiffany Aleshire, Devon Aleshire, and one great grand daughter Chyenne King.
