BETTY LOU ANDERSON

Betty Lou Wilson Anderson, age 82, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Rockcastle Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky

Funeral Services were held Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial was at Pine Knot Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born Sept. 8, 1931 in Strunk, Kentucky, to the late Richard Franklin and Ardilla (Brown) Wilson. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ottis Anderson whom she married on May 9, 1952.  Her husband passed away in 2002. Also preceding her in death are her brothers Woodrow, Bill, Eddie, Harry, Grover, Richard “Dick”, Jimmy, and Benny Wilson. Sisters Frankie Nesbitt, and Rosellen Wilson Gilreath. Brothers-in-law Kelcy Hamby, and Columbus Wilson. Sister-in-law Doris (Anderson) Wilson.

Surviving family include her son Tim and wife Colinda Anderson of Redkey, Indiana, grandson Doug and wife Stephanie of Muncie, Indiana, brothers Costello Wilson and wife Doris of Pine Knot, Bobby Wilson of Strunk,  sisters; Ardilla Faye Baird and husband Emery of Strunk, Drucilla Voss and husband Charley of Port Charlotte, Florida, Pat King of Pine Knot, Goldie Stephens and husband Joe of London, Kentucky, three sisters-in-law; Cora Wilson, Betty Wilson,  Pauline “Toots” Wilson, Bernice Hamby, and Beatrice Daugherty and husband Aaron. Also step-mother Nevada Wilson Bowling, along with her nieces and nephews that were very special to her.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
