BENJAMIN D BOLIN

Benjamin D. “Benny” Bolin, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday May 9, 2014, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was 53 years old.

Benny was a auto mechanic working for Gary Blevins for 14 years.  He liked nothing more than to work on vehicles.  He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky, to the late Frank and Golda (Gage) Bolin on September 24, 1961. 

He has four sons; Glenn Wilson of Stearns, Anthony Bolin of Pine Knot, Jeremy Bolin of Stearns, Jeff Bolin of Brandenburg, Kentucky and a daughter Hallie Bailey of Marion, Indiana. The mother of his children is Shari Gosnell.  He has a sister, Myrtle Bolin Brooks (and husband Ralph) of Pine Knot and two brothers; Frank Bolin, Jr. (and wife Pearl) of Monticello, and Donnie Bolin (and wife Jeanette) of Parkers Lake.    He has one grandchild, Katelyn Bolin and one that was like a grandchild, Aleshia Barnett.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.  Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
