BELINDA JEAN MEADOWS

Mrs. Belinda Jean Meadows, age 44, passed away Monday, October 8, 2007, at her home in Pine Knot with her family by her side.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. at the Round Top United Baptist Church in Pine Knot, with Rev. Melvin Trammell and Rev. Gary Sturdivant officiating. She was laid to rest in the Davis Family Cemetery on Round Top Road in Pine Knot.

Belinda was born February 6, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Charles and Kathleen Seward Davis. She was a member of the Round Top United Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the yard, designing flower gardens and watching things grow.

On September 26, 1981, Belinda was united in marriage to William Michael Meadows and they made their home on the Tom Meadows Road in Pine Knot. Belinda and Mike have a daughter Krista (and her husband Fred) Odago of Lexington, Kentucky, and two sons Michael (and fiancAC. Sherri Lynn) of Pine Knot and Joseph also of Pine Knot. Her parents Charles and Kathleen Davis also live in Pine Knot. She has a sister Sabrina Sturdivant of Laurel Hill, Florida and five brothers, Billy Rose of Wytheville, Virginia, Michael Rose of Enterprise, Alabama, Charlie Davis of Pine Knot, David Davis of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Trent Davis of Texas. Her best friends are Teresia Ball, Carla Meredith and Rosalee Ball. Belinda was known as a "super mom" who wrapped her life around her children and was a second mother to many other children. She had so much love for people and she graciously received their love in return.
