Arnold "Ponnie" Delmus Creekmore

Arnold “Ponnie”  Creekmore, age 64, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, at the Signature Health Care Center in Pine Knot.

Born July 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Delmus Creekmore and Laura Belle (Moore) Creekmore.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Marion and Carolyn Belle Creekmore.

Surviving family include two sons: Jamie Creekmore (wife Deangela) of Andersonville, Tennessee, and Mickey Creekmore of Robbins, Tennessee,  two brothers: Randall Creekmore of Pine Knot and Ricky Creekmore (wife Pam) of Pine Knot, four sisters: Lula Bryant (husband Onel Dean) of Pine Knot, Barbara Lovett (husband Steve) of Strunk, Kentucky, Lorene Stephens of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Shirley Cooper (husband Michael) of Pine Knot, four grandchildren: Kayla, James, Korey and Marcus Creekmore.

Ponnie had worked as a logger and enjoyed cutting trees.  He loved the outdoors and being in the woods.  He also enjoyed car racing of all kinds and four-wheeling.  He enjoyed going to the races with his family and spending time with them.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated.
