Anthony Wayne "Tiny" Meadows

Anthony Wayne “Tiny” Meadows age 65 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his home.

He was born September 30, 1957 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Luke Edward Meadows and Jewel Dean (Neal) Meadows. In addition to his parents, Tiny is preceded in death by a son, Brooks Anthony Meadows and a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Ann Strunk.

Surviving family include his wife, Eva Dean (Davenport) Meadows whom he married, October 28, 1978; a son, Jason Strunk (and Carri) of Pine Knot; daughters, Heather Roy (and Matthew) of Pine Knot and Evie Meadows (and Richard Tucker) of Pine Knot; grandchildren, Jacob Strunk (and Kaity), Brandi King (and George), Peyton Bechard (and Travis), Ethan Tucker, Korey Johnson, Colin Johnson, and Casen Morrow; and great-grandchildren, Charles, Jaden, Cooper, Haizley, and Asher.

Also surviving are Tiny’s brothers, Calvin Meadows (and Charlene), Edward Allen Meadows (and Linda), and William Michael Meadows; a sister, Rosalie Ball (and Wayne) all of Pine Knot; a special niece, Chloe Richardson and her children, Easton and Elizabeth; and several other nieces, nephews, and family who loved him dearly.

Tiny was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and he had made his living as a truck driver with DH Campbell Inc. as well as Pine Knot Lumber. In his own time, he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and camping. Tiny also enjoyed drag racing, trucking, going to the beach, and riding motorcycles. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Blankenship officiating. Burial to follow in the Meadows Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday after 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the remaining expense.
