ANTHONY WADE STEPHENS, SR

Mr. Anthony Wade Stephens, Sr. age 55 of Pine Knot, passed away on Sunday October 18, 2009 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 21, 2009, at 11am in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Terry West officiating. Burial will follow in the Hayes Creek Cemetery.

He was born in Oneida, TN on September 7, 1954. He was the son of the late Herbert W. Stephens and Vera C. Stephens. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Donna Faye West Stephens, who passed away on 2001, and a son Anthony Wade Stephens Jr. in 2006 and his father in law, Barney West.

Survivors include two daughters, Cristy D. Stephens of Pine Knot, and Jerry Sexton of Helenwood, TN. and Angela K. Stephens of Huntsville, TN. There are 5 grandchildren, Cheyenne Fayth Sexton of Pine Knot, Cody Wade Lowe of Huntsville, TN, Logan Anthony Wayne Sexton of Pine Knot, Ashton LaShae Lowe and Gage William King, both of Huntsville, TN. Also surviving is his mother in law, Gladys West.

Wade was a retired construction worker and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, but most of all, he enjoyed and loved his children and grandchildren.
