Angel Wilson Daugherty

Angel Wilson Daugherty, age 36, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023. 

 

Angel loved to sing.  Her voice was a gift from God.  She sung in her church's choir on Sundays since she was a teenager.  She also loved to watch NASCAR races with her papaw Rayford.  But Angel's deepest passion was being a mother to her children.  Angel was a homemaker by heart and enjoyed her days raising and teaching her children.

 

Surviving family include her children:  Braden Ross, Macean Daugherty, Madison Daugherty, Mackenna Daugherty, and Chloe Shepherd.

Grandparents: Rayford Wilson, Brenda Murphy, and Morris and Betty King.  Her husband, Austin Daugherty, Mother, Trisha Wilson, father, Tony King, mother-in-law, Anna Phillips, sisters: Chelsea Murphy and Skyler King, brothers: Michael King and Cody King, aunts: Debbie Phillips, Kimberly Murphy, Tina Higdon, and Rita Harrington, uncles: Randall Murphy and Elwood Phillips, along with a variety of cousins.

 

She is now reunited with her grandfather, Kenneth Murphy, grandmother, Grace McCarty, brother, Charles Murphy and son Malachi Daugherty.

 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Jones Cemetery in Strunk, Kentucky. The family will arrive at 12:00 noon and receive friends for visitation on Monday after 1:00 pm until service time.
