Albert Sexton

Mr. Albert Sexton, age 88, of Winfield, Tennessee passed away Tuesday February 3, 2015 at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Clinton, Tennessee.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday February 4, 2015 at the 2^nd  Bethlehem Baptist Church at 3:00pm in Winfield, Tennessee. Burial was at the Hazel Valley Cemetery.

Albert was born June 28, 1926 in Norma, Tennessee, to the late John Freeman and Sarah (Burchfield) Sexton. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Elma (Jeffers) Sexton; a daughter Velma Jean Sexton; two brothers Clifford and Arville Sexton; four sisters Marie Rose, Edith Sexton,  Elma Weigler and Oma Essie Sexton; and a very special nephew W.C. Sexton.

Surviving family include his son Delbert Sexton and wife Shirlene of Winfield, Tennessee; two sisters Thelma Furr of New Whiteland, Indiana, and Janice Brown of Chesterfield Indiana; and a special niece-in-law Anna Lee Sexton; two granddaughters Delesia Miller and Danessa Dixon; along with three great grandchildren Mekia, Mazie, and Jorden Dixon.

Albert was a member of the West Oneida Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and reading his Bible. He was retired from the Charles D. Roberts Company. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
