Mr. Albert Bryant, age 65, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2006, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 7, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Logan and Rev. Lance Lay officiating. Special music was provided by Brenda House. Serving as pall bears were Barry Lay, Greg Bell, Jason Dixon, Randy Ball, Kevin Mowry and Justin Mowry. Mr. Bryant was laid to rest in the Jones Cemetery in Strunk, Kentucky
Albert was a retired sawmill worker having worked for Willis King Post Mill. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling and spending time in the outdoors.
He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky, on January 26, 1941, the son of the late Earl and Pearlie Carter Bryant. His parents, three brothers, Delbert, Orville and Howard Bryant, a sister, Ruby Bryant, an infant sister and two infant brothers proceed him in death. Also a grand daughter Kayla Bryant preceded him in death.
Albert leaves behind his wife of 34 years Nevada Ball Bryant of Strunk, Kentucky, and a daughter Marie Bryant of Paulding, Ohio, two brothers, Oscar Bryant of Waford, Kentucky, and Rob Bryant of Strunk, and two sisters Orphie Miller of Woodbine, Kentucky, and Ernie Cooper of Pine Knot. Albert and Nevada had two precious grandsons, Andy and David. There are many other relatives and friends, nieces and nephews left to mourn his passing.
Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
