Elva BallElva Alberta Ball, age 73, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee. She was born in Parkers Lake, Kentucky, to the late Virgil and Ethel (Perry Keith) on January 19, 1948. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Thurman Keith (wife Thelma lives in London, Kentucky), sisters: Nora Patrick (husband Vestle lives in Parkers Lake) , Vertie Clontz), Pearl Smith, Mary Grubbs (husband Gerry lives in Cincinnati, Ohio), and Margaret Keith (infant). Surviving family include her husband Donald Everett Ball whom she married April 4, 1967, a son, Norris Tracey Ball (wife Doris, deceased), a daughter, Tina Campbell (husband Bryan) of Somerset, Kentucky, step-children: Donald Wayne Ball (wife Kay) of Corbin, Kentucky, and Brenda Ball of Michigan. Her brothers are: Russell Keith (wife Tammy) of Somerset, Larry Keith (wife Donna) of Somerset, Robert Keith (wife Georgia) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Terry Dewayne Keith (wife Gidget) of Parkers Lake. Her sisters are Myrtle Strunk of Pine Knot (husband Donald, deceased), Pauline Parton of Cincinnati, Ohio (husband James, deceased), and Kay Ball (husband Donald) of Corbin, Kentucky. There are two grandchildren: Cozy and Crystal and three step-grandchildren: Justin, Jason and Brandon. Elva was a homemaker and attended the Eagle Creek Church. She enjoyed searching out family history, writing songs and poems and doing word search puzzles. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 3, 2021, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Expression of sympathy may take form of donations to the family. Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Elva Ball with funeral arrangements.
